Chicken Farmers of Canada have been implementing an antimicrobial use (AMU) strategy since 2012 and have taken some big steps in AMU reduction as part of that. In this section we explain what it’s all about and why we have a strategy, share some of the resources we’ve developed for consumer education, and point to external resources that you will find useful for production information applicable to reduced antibiotics.
