Mitch Larner – Newfoundland
Mitch has grown up in the chicken industry, with both his grandfather and father being broiler farmers. He understands the importance of a farmer’s role in supplying a protein source for his province.
Kristina Roarke – Québec
Kristina is a registered nurse and has been a teacher for nearly twenty years. She ventured into farming in 2010 with her partner. In 2024, she added poultry farming to her repertoire, motivated by her curiosity and desire to contribute. Driven and dynamic, she puts the same passion into her projects as she does into her family life. She is the mother of four children, between 6 and 14.
Tiffany Huberts – Ontario
Tiffany grew up on a family chicken farm and began farming with her husband in 2025. She graduated from the University of Guelph with an Agriculture degree in 2022 and now works in crop science while she continues to build their broiler operation.
Brad Beaver – Saskatchewan
Brad and his wife Jill built their chicken barn in 2012 and since that time he has watched their family, their farm and the industry grow. Now they farm with their four boys and he currently sits as the Chair of the Saskatchewan Chicken Industry Development Fund (SCIDF).
Amanda Korthuis – British Columbia
Amanda is a BC chicken farmer and advocate for agricultural education. Rooted in family farming and driven by connection, she shares the story of Canadian food production with the next generation through classrooms, community events, and digital storytelling.
