Presents

Cooped Up Chicken Creation Contest

Show Canada’s chicken farmers how much you love Canada’s number one meat protein!

Share your favourite chicken recipe with farmers and colleagues on the Hill, and support Canadian food banks!

Here’s How The Contest Works:

Chicken Farmers of Canada is calling on all Members of Parliament and Senators to enter the Parliamentarian recipe contest in support of Canada’s food banks! We are all spending a lot more time at home this summer, and what better way to keep busy than cook AND give back to the community.

  1. Contest is open to all sitting Members of Parliament and Senators
  2. Format is any favourite chicken dish prepared in any style – get creative! Think sandwiches, stir fry, appetizers, casseroles, etc.!
  3. Recipes will be tested by our farmer judges on September 16th. Entries will be judged on widespread appeal, originality and taste.

Help us donate to food banks across the country!

Show Canada’s chicken farmers how much you love Canada’s number one meat protein by sharing your favuorite chicken recipe with farmers and colleagues on the Hill. But let’s add a little encouragement into the mix. When you submit your recipe, tag 3-5 other Parliamentarians on social media to do the same. For every tagged Parliamentarian who sends in a recipe, we’ll add $100 to the pot!

In total, CFC will be donating: $12,000 to food banks across Canada ($4,000 to a food bank in western, central and Atlantic Canada) – but with your help this amount increases! Encourage your Hill colleagues to enter in order to increase the donation.
